The Florida Department of Law Enforcement administered an in-kind equipment program for Florida sheriff's offices. The program provided Starkey SoundGear Shield hearing-protection devices intended to reduce harmful noise exposure while preserving situational awareness in the field.
Each agency had to submit one request for at least 20 devices. Devices were distributed on a first-come, first-served basis. The opportunity is closed because all available devices have been claimed.

Required materials
A completed Active Hearing Protection Request Form specifying the total number of devices requested, accurate contact and shipping information, and a designated point of contact for certified delivery.
