FY26-27 State Assistance for Fentanyl Eradication (S.A.F.E.)

Summary: Florida state funding reimburses local law enforcement agencies for approved investigative operations targeting illegal fentanyl activity during the July 1, 2026, through June 30, 2027, project period.
The S.A.F.E. program supports Florida local law enforcement investigations focused on combating illegal fentanyl activity. Reimbursement may cover approved overtime, relevant travel, investigative supplies, equipment, relevant contractual services, training, and other costs associated with fentanyl-eradication cases.
Agencies must email a Case Summary Form and Initial Funding Request Form to the listed FDLE regional contact serving their county. Requests are approved or denied based on investigative operational needs and review by the S.A.F.E. Executive Board.
