What can the funding be used for?
Personnel, travel, equipment, consultants or contracts, and other direct costs for qualifying toxicology projects. Activities may include forensic alcohol or breath-alcohol analysis for DUI prosecution, controlled-substance or drug-chemistry analysis for DUID prosecution, eliminating forensic evidence backlogs, reducing sample-testing turnaround times, and purchasing or upgrading equipment to improve testing capabilities.
